Elevated Thai in Historic Spot
Championing the integrity and bold flavours of Thai cuisine, international award-winning chef David Thompson has opened Aaharn in Hong Kong’s Tai Kwun Centre in the Central district. Housed on the top floor of the historic Armoury building, the new eatery by the Australian-born chef is said to be a world-class exploration of Thailand’s signature flavours.
Thompson is considered by many to be the world’s leading authority on Thai food, evident by his numerous accolades including a Mechelin-star awarded for his London restaurant Nahm in 2001 and his top spot on top S. Pellegrino’s Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants in 2014 for his Bangkok iteration. Aaharn is slated to offer the same with a unique menu populated by dishes perfected by the chef’s sublime technical skills.
