An Ode to Culture
Bangkok | 11 Sep 2019 – 23 Oct 2019

A feast for the senses is in store when Thailand’s leading performing arts festival, the Bangkok International Festival of Dance & Music, returns for the 21st time.

This year is historical, as the festival brings one of the Three Tenors – Jose Carreras – to mesmerise audiences in his Farewell Bangkok performance. Also featured will be China’s national treasure, Li Yugang, who is taking her theatrical musical “Lady Zhaojun” overseas for the first time.

This six-week annual homage to arts and culture will include several not-to-be-missed extravaganzas. Highlights are the operas Turandot and Rusalka, modern dance by Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo from New York, the electrifying La Verità from Switzerland’s Compagnia Finzi Pasca, United Kingdom’s Imperial Ice Stars performing Cinderella and Swan Lake, and The Hunchback of Notre Dame from the Kremlin Ballet to name a few.

The festival is always popular, so hurry up and book your tickets. The venue is Thailand Cultural Centre, Bangkok. Visit and
