Flame Meets Flesh

As the name suggests, Carne Bangkok is all about this Spanish/South American-inspired restaurant is its innovative use of fire to craft dish after marvelous dish to delight even the most jaded palate.

Chefs apply their expertise in charcoal- and flame-grilling as well as roasting to high-grade cuts and top-quality local ingredients. Thai beef bred from Japan’s world-famous Wagyu is joined on the menu by premium chicken, fish fresh from Lanta Island, and juicy Kurobuta pork, all complemented by organic vegetables.

Specialities include the charcoal-grilled bone marrow served with Romesco sauce, European anchovy and Focaccia; Sea Bass Ceviche – a flavourful blend of local fillet and herbs; Sweet Corn Succotash Salad – an interesting combination of corn, chorizo and pimentao peppers with a kick of chilli dressing and smoked lime; and Tres Leches with Caramelised Pineapples – Carne’s signature dessert with sublime taste powered by aromas of rum, kaffir lime and grilled pineapple.
