A ‘Real Italian

Pullman Yangon Centrepoint’s E’ Cucina Ristorante e Vino is fast gaining fame for its authentic Italian cuisine fashioned with ingredients from Italy and local organic produce. In fact, its “real Italian cuisine” was recently recognised with a “Ospitalita Italiana” plaque given only to authentic Italian restaurants overseas.

The restaurant’s menu created by Italian Chef Nico covers every facet of Italian cuisine, ranging from Napoli pizza with a base made from four-day-old dough to handmade pasta. Its Mozzarella Bar, meanwhile, offers a wide variety of cheeses from Italy as well as the locally made artisanal fromaggio. Don’t miss out on Taglionlini Al Burro E Tartufo Bianco – pasta flamed in a wheel of parmesan flaked with white truffle (if in season) – and Burratina di Buffalo with organic rocket. Of course, no Italian feast is complete without a mind-blowing tiramisu or zabaglione washed down with limoncello or one of the many Italian digestifs on offer. The walk-in wine cellar also houses a wide selection of vintages, though the focus is mostly Italian.
