Open Farm To Table

In a concrete jungle like Singapore, it is refreshing to see a restaurant champion the efforts of sustainable farming and seasonal cooking. That’s the message Open Farm Community (OFC) imparts unto its diners as it strives to deepen the relationship between urban communities with nature by supporting the local urban farming movement. Since its inception in 2015, OFC has celebrated local farmers, creative chefs, and delicious seasonal fare.

The open-concept kitchen and restaurant in Minden Road recently welcomed Head Chef Oliver Truesdale-Jutras and Sous Chef Phoebe Oviedo, the new creative culinary force at the OFC. The duo has already embarked on dishing up inventive and hearty dishes all made with locally-sourced ingredients. The OFC also organises a curated farmer’s market, which allows guests to deepen the pleasures of simple, freshly harvested ingredients that is both nourishing and a visual feast.
