Up Close and Personal with Golden Man
Kuala Lumpur | 1 Sep 2019 – 1 Oct 2019
The Department of Museums Malaysia has borrowed the National Museum of Kazakhstan’s star attraction to give visitors and history buffs a rare chance to see Pameran the Golden Man.
The remains of this Scythian warrior were discovered by archaeologists in 1969 in Kazakhstan’s Issyk burial mound and since independence in 1991, it has become a symbol of the country’s national heritage.
The exhibition features some of Kazakhstan’s most treasured artefacts, including intricately detailed gold artefacts dating back to the 5th century and a complex, detailed warrior costume made from over 4,000 separate pieces of gold, true sight to behold. Jalan Damansara, Tasik
