The Bangkok Art and Culture Centre (BACC) and Sunpride Foundation are joining hands to unveil the work of 59 artists in SPECTRO SYNTHESIS II – Exposure of Tolerance: LGBTQ in Southeast Asia.
The curatorial team, led by Chatvichai Promadhattavedi, have selected a strong line-up of artworks to reveal how boundaries are shifting, social frameworks opening up, and established norms and values being called into question. Featured artists include Hong Kong’s Christopher Cheung and Jes Fan, India’s Balbir Krishan, Dinh Q. Lê from Vietnam, Filipino David Medalla, Ramesh Mario Nithiyendran from Sri Lanka and Thailand’s own Arin Rungjang to name a few. Admission is free.
