Art Circus Comes to Town

The Kala Ghoda Arts Festival has been dubbed the subcontinent’s largest multicultural celebration of creativity by The Hindu newspaper and was tagged Festival of the Year in 2012.

This feast of street-art first tumbled into Mumbai in 1999 and will this year celebrate the 150th birthday of Mahatma Gandhi.

The Kala Ghoda extravaganza offers a vibrant spectrum of colour, culture and tradition. From heated literary and social debates to workshops and book launches, from musical delights to dance performances, from mesmerising visual art to handmade crafts, the event is a compelling delight for lovers of art and life.
