Renowned for its enchanting parade of women on bicycles carrying colourful paper parasols, the festival shines a spotlight on the region’s rich artisanal traditions.

Over three days, visitors can explore the intricate art of hand-painted umbrella making, and even try crafting their own unique parasol. The festival also showcases a wide range of other local crafts, including pottery, silk weaving and woodworking, each reflecting talent and heritage passed down through generations. With cultural performances, colourful parades, and festive street displays, the event offers a captivating glimpse into the beauty and history of the Lanna kingdom.
