Running Through Angkor
Siem Reap
Set against Cambodia’s stunning World Heritage Site, the 30th Angkor Wat International Half Marathon returns on December 7 with a message of hope and solidarity. Since launching in 1996, the race has pushed for a ban on anti-personnel mines and raised support for landmine survivors in Cambodia. Proceeds go towards prosthetic limbs, rehabilitation, education, and healthcare, and help to fund Angkor Hospital For Children and Kantha Bopha Children Hospital.
Runners get a choice of four distances – 3k, 5k, 10k or 21k (half-marathon) – with every route winding through awe-inspiring temple ruins. Whether you run, walk, or cheer from the sidelines, this event is more than a race – it’s a movement of slidarity, healing, and hope.
