Bangkok Airways Honoured Twice at TAT Tourism Awards 2025
Bangkok Airways earned double recognition at the 15th Thailand Tourism Awards 2025, hosted by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) to honour operators who champion quality service and sustainable tourism.
The awards were graciously presented by Her Royal Highness Princess Ubolratana Rajakanya Sirivadhana Barnavadi to the airline’s representatives, Mrs. Chanthip Thongkanya, Vice President – Office of the President, and Ms. Tresarun Sitakalin, Vice President – Company Secretary and Acting Vice President – Airport Department. The ceremony was held at the Grand Hyatt Erawan Hotel, Bangkok.
Bangkok Airways received both the Thailand Tourism Outstanding Award and the Thailand Tourism Sustainability Award in the category “Sustainable Tourism Support and Promotion Organisation – Private Sector”. These accolades highlight the airline’s efforts through its “Boutique Series” initiative, underscoring its commitment to environmental, social and governance principles.
Now in its seventh year, the Bangkok Airways Boutique Series is an annual marathon-style event that promotes sports tourism while supporting local communities and protecting the environment. This year, the races took place across three destinations – Koh Samui, Trat and Sukhothai – drawing participants from both Thailand and aboard.
The event not only delivered memorable experiences for runners but also reinforced the airline’s mission to support Thailand’s tourism industry on its path toward sustainability.
บริษัท การบินกรุงเทพ จำกัด (มหาชน) หรือสายการบินบางกอกแอร์เวย์ส เข้ารับสองรางวัลพระราชทานอันทรงเกียรติบนเวทีอุตสาหกรรมท่องเที่ยวไทย ครั้งที่ 15 ประจำปี 2568 (Thailand Tourism Awards 2025) จัดโดยการท่องเที่ยวแห่งประเทศไทย (ททท.) เพื่อเชิดชูผู้ประกอบการท่องเที่ยวไทยที่มีคุณภาพสินค้าและบริการทางการท่องเที่ยวอย่างยอดเยี่ยม พร้อมยกระดับยุทธศาสตร์การท่องเที่ยวเพื่อมุ่งสู่ความยั่งยืน โดยมีทูลกระหม่อมหญิงอุบลรัตนราชกัญญา สิริวัฒนาพรรณวดี เสด็จเป็นองค์ประธานในพิธี ในโอกาสนี้ นางจันทร์ทิพย์ ทองกันยา รองกรรมการผู้อำนวยการใหญ่ สำนักกรรมการผู้อำนวยการใหญ่ และนางสาวตรีศรัณย์ สีตกะลิน รองกรรมการผู้อำนวยการใหญ่ เลขานุการบริษัทและรักษาการรองผู้อำนวยการใหญ่ฝ่ายสนามบินเป็นผู้แทนเข้ารับพระราชทานรางวัล ณ โรงแรมแกรนด์ ไฮแอท เอราวัณ กรุงเทพมหานคร
ในปีนี้ สายการบินบางกอกแอร์เวย์ส ได้รับรางวัลอุตสาหกรรมท่องเที่ยวไทยประเภทองค์กรสนับสนุนและส่งเสริมการท่องเที่ยวยั่งยืน สาขาองค์กรภาคเอกชนรางวัลดีเด่น (Thailand Tourism Outstanding Awards) และรางวัลแห่งความยั่งยืน (Thailand Tourism Sustainability Awards) ประเภทองค์กรสนับสนุนและส่งเสริมการท่องเที่ยวยั่งยืนจากโครงการ “บางกอกแอร์เวย์ส บูทีค ซีรีส์” (Bangkok Airways Boutique Series) สะท้อนถึงความมุ่งมั่นของสายการบินฯ ในการดำเนินธุรกิจโดยให้ความสำคัญต่อความยั่งยืนด้านสิ่งแวดล้อม สังคม และบรรษัทภิบาล
“บางกอกแอร์เวย์ส บูทีค ซีรีส์” เป็นกิจกรรมการแข่งขันวิ่งมาราธอนที่จัดขึ้นต่อเนื่องเป็นปีที่ 7 เพื่อส่งเสริมการท่องเที่ยวเชิงกีฬา (Sports Tourism) ภายใต้แนวคิดใส่ใจสิ่งแวดล้อมและชุมชน โดยปีนี้จัดขึ้นใน 3 จังหวัด ซึ่งมีเอกลักษณ์การท่องเที่ยวอันโดดเด่น ได้แก่ เกาะสมุย จังหวัดสุราษฎร์ธานี, จังหวัดตราด และจังหวัดสุโขทัย กิจกรรมนี้ไม่เพียงแต่สร้างประสบการณ์ที่น่าประทับใจให้กับนักวิ่งทั้งชาวไทยและต่างชาติ แต่ยังช่วยกระจายรายได้สู่ชุมชนท้องถิ่น ตอกย้ำเจตนารมณ์ของสายการบินฯ ในการสนับสนุนการท่องเที่ยวของประเทศไทยสู่ความยั่งยืน
