A treat for photography lovers and the simply curious, Singapore’s Vintage Camera Museum is a true hidden diamond – instantly recognisable by its unique camera-shaped façade. The country’s only museum dedicated to the art and science of photography, it houses more than 1,000 vintage cameras, tracing the evolution of image- making over 137 years, from early daguerreotypes to iconic SLRs.

The guided tour, “Invention, Innovation and Transformation”, walks visitors through photography’s journey from a complex craft to an accessible art form. Don’t miss the photo wall, featuring some of the world’s earliest photographs, including the first image ever taken in Singapore and the first colour photographs.
