“Bangkok 242” invites artists, creators, activists, and researchers to reflect on the urban landscape from the viewpoint of Bangkok citizens thorugh the lenses of history, culture, technology, and innovation.

This meditation on the city’s past, present and future encompasses the visions of 13 artists and two organisations. Visitors are invited to take a sneak peek at what the future of one of Asia’s most vibrant cities could look like.

The focus is on empowering citizens to shape the space in which they work, rest and play, making Bangkok a more liveable city for all.
