Children Given ‘Wings of Inspiration’ at Sukhothai Airport

Bangkok Airways Public Company Limited has partnered with Sukhothai Airport and the Bangkok Air Aviation Training Centre (BATC) to host its “Wings of Inspiration: Creating Learning Opportunities” programme for a third consecutive year.

The latest chapter of the airline’s “Connect Your Happiness” campaign took place recently at Sukhothai Airport, giving local primary school students fun and fascinating insights into the world of aviation. Activities included guided tours of airport operations spanning the runway, fire and rescue procedures and cabin crew duties, as well as hands-on experience in a flight simulator and a visit to the Sukhothai Airport Zoo.

The programme encourages young students to broaden their career horizons, while supporting educational development and helping to build a happy and sustainable community.

กิจกรรมนี้เปิดโอกาสให้เด็กๆ ในพื้นที่ได้เรียนรู้จากประสบการณ์จริง และเปิดโลกทัศน์อาชีพด้านการบินผ่านกระบวนการ “เรียนรู้ด้วยการลงมือทำ” (Learning by Doing) โดยมีนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 3-6 จากโรงเรียนวัดท่าช้าง เข้าร่วมกิจกรรม อาทิ เยี่ยมชมพื้นที่ปฏิบัติงานภายในสนามบิน (Airport Tour) เรียนรู้เกี่ยวกับทางวิ่ง เครื่องฝึกบิน การปฏิบัติงานของเจ้าหน้าที่ดับเพลิง และการทำงานของพนักงานต้อนรับบนเครื่องบิน รวมถึงเยี่ยมชนสวนสัตว์สนามบินสุโขทัย

บางกอกแอร์เวย์สมุ่งหวังที่จะเป็นส่วนหนึ่งในการจุดประกายความฝัน และสร้างแรงบันดาลใจให้เด็กๆ ได้มองเห็นเส้นทางอาชีพในอนาคตพร้อมร่วมพัฒนาชุมชนให้เติบโตอย่างมีความสุขและยั่งยืนต่อไป
