At De Quarr, design is rooted in deep respect for the heritage of northern Thailand. Partnering with regional artisan communities, this Chiang Mai social enterprise translates generational knowledge, natural dyes and handwoven textiles into everyday pieces. A traditional shoulder bag (yaam) is reimagined as an everyday tote, while handwoven ethnic textiles become contemporary jackets and homeware. Each item retains the distinct character and story of its maker while fitting effortlessly into a modern wardrobe. This is traditional craft with contemporary purpose: keeping heritage skills alive in everyday, cutting-edge designs.
