Dining to the Rhythm of the Sea
Chonburi
Seafood restaurant Pladids began life in the small wooden home of a local fishing family in Chon Buri. Living in harmony with the sea, the owners understand how tides and seasons shape their ingredients, knowing which fish are perfect for sashimi and which make the most flavourful curries.
The menu at Pladids changes day by day, season by season, with dishes served at an intimate table seating only 12. Every plate is guided entirely by the sea’s changing harvest and the owners’ commitment to sustainability. By sourcing from local fisherfolk and taking only what the ocean offers each day, the restaurant brings a gentle, mindful approach to eating. The menu here sings with the flavours of the sea and the local devotion to fresh food and good living.
