SALT,  a new boutique eatery on a peaceful stretch of Lamai Beach Road, infuses a welcoming atmosphere with a touch of sophistication.

Created by BR Munns International, which brought The Cliff Bar & Grill and Bondi Restaurant to Koh Samui, SALT offers casual luxury at surprisingly low prices.

Executive Chef Kwang Apinya crafts traditional Thai dishes with a unique twist while Head Chef Micaela Markides brings cosmopolitan flavours from her time working aboard yachts. The menu offers a global voyage, ranging from Japanese sushi and Italian pasta to gourmet American burgers and Mexican tacos. The Thai menu, meanwhile, includes favourites like Tom Kha and Khao Soi, while barbecue options include Portuguese Peri Peri chicken, Espetada steak and grilled fish topped with an exquisite Peruvian salsa. Also starring are gargantuan and delicious king and tiger prawns, as well as sides like Greek salad and Spanish rice.
