Yurt Hong Kong
Taste of the Steppe in SoHo
Hong Kong

Yurt, Hong Kong’s first modern Central Asian restaurant, is the creation of a Kazakh duo keen to share the unique flavours and traditions of their region. Rooted in nomadic culinary heritage, the menu features classics like dolma (stuffed vine leaves) and beshbarmaq – homemade square ravioli-like noodles served in a clear beef soup with shredded potatoes, carrot and sliced stewed beef. Ask for horse sausage to be added for the full authentic experience.

Diners can opt for a six-course tasting menu or go à la carte. Dishes are complemented by exotic mocktails like Almaty Nights and Samarkand Spice, as well as cold or hot tea.

Yurt brings the homely, unpretentious classics of the steppe to Hong Kong, delighting the city’s growing Central Asian community, as well as foodies seeking new culinary adventures.
